The "Dissolving Depression Technique" has been created and developed by Nick Davies as an alternative and complementary way to help people suffering with certain types of depression.
It is an alternative way for those recently experiencing depression who are seeking an alternative to taking medication and as a complementary way for those already on medication who wish to reduce their doses or come off it altogether. NB In the latter cases it is important that we can work closely with your GP or Mental Healthcare Professional as they are responsible for your levels of medication.
Nick developed this process, which draws on techniques from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, Transactional Analysis, his BLAST Technique®, Parts Therapy, Analytical Therapy, Timeline Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Life Coaching and techniques he has developed himself, in order to treat the growing number of clients he saw who wanted to try a different way of treating their depression rather than taking medication.
"DDT" is not a quick fix and can take anywhere between 4 and 12 sessions depending on the severity and the individual.
A free consultation and assessment will be done prior to any client being accepted for the treatment.
